The socialists want early voting sites at UNCG and NC A&T badly because it will favor their side. There is also an element of identity politics because there is a presumption these should be in place to facilitate more black votes.
The News and Record reports on various folks descending on a meeting of the Guilford County Board of Elections to protest. It got so bad that one of the members of the board had to remind them they were not at a concert or a political rally.
I am glad the Board of Elections stood its ground. All of these impassioned calls for early voting sites on the part of attendees are a reflection of their overwhelming sense of entitlement. They think they are ENTITLED to these sites, but that is clearly untrue.
