The first suggests that the socialists leading Guilford County are seeking to create a welfare program to help people who are victimized by tax increases caused by mammoth property revaluations. The program will involve redistributing money from some taxpayers to others.
The second describes how the socialists running the county schools system are seeking a 9% increase in funding despite the fact that enrollment is decreased due to charter schools and school vouchers. They are making this brazen money grab in complete disregard for the taxpayers facing higher tax bills due to these same revaluations.
The bottom line is redistribution to a favored group. Redistribute taxpayers’ money to other preferred taxpayers. Redistribute taxpayers’ money to the education establishment.
Nobody is sticking up for the rest of us.
