Thanks for this post. ~6 months ago, explicit outlawing of CBDC by the Fed was removed from a bill just before passage. I contacted Congressman Addison MacDowell 3 times to find out why, and whether he was doing anything to make it explicitly illegal. I got no answer. I guess that is the quality of representation we should expect from someone Trump endorsed.
CBDC is the greatest tool of tyranny the criminals who run the Swamp could ever have. It is really illegal even aside from Trump’s executive order and Congress not making it explicitly illegal. But in the depths of the next recession, the Fed will do whatever they want to without a very visible prominent veto. “It’s an emergency! Don’t you know?”
I really don’t understand much of what he said but it sounds scary and sneaky.

We learned from Covid, J. Sobran, the lengths to which they will go to restrict people’s freedom. Allowing a CBDC is asking for trouble– lots of it.
