These two videos provide a picture of what is happening in Mexico. The killing of a cartel leader has set off a series of violent eruptions. This is of enormous significance. Of particular interest is Mr. Rodriguez’ contention that the cartels control Mexico– because they do! If tourists are being held hostage, this could prove to be an all-consuming struggle:
I took a tour of the Yucatan ( Mexico ) in 2013. My daughter and her husband took the same tour in 2018. Both were fun and uneventful. Clearly times have changed.
This is a very complex dilemma that Trump must face head on and solve.
I think Trump instigated the take-out of that cartel boss, Fred. This is a more justifiable war than Iran at this point since these people have been killing Americans by instigating the drug trade. I found it fascinating that this fellow in the video claims the cartels control the resorts Americans visit. In fact, he says they control the country, and he is not off base.
