Indiana University’s college football championship made some history. It is the first team to have attained a 16-0 record since the late 1800’s.
The coach, Curt Cignetti, is credited with the turnaround story for this school and this enormous achievement overall. He was head coach for Elon University’s team roughly eight years ago. He has also served on the coaching staff at NC State and Davidson in the past.
The team’s quarterback, Fernando Mendoza, is very open about his Christian faith. He is a very good role model for young people.
It is a pretty heartwarming story.
