  1. “14 of 92 US attorneys approved” by the Senate. One year in. So instead of Trump making an issue of the absurdity of this ‘blue slip’ chokehold, he traipses off to the spotlight of Davos. A very public airing could do a lot. Or grab Thune by the tender parts and tell him to recess.

The corruption of the Swamp is THE fundamental issue. This is the fight that matters. America First doggone it. Nothing at Davos touches the importance of prosecuting at least 1% of the thousands of malfeasants in the Federal govt.

(The issue of 85% of lawyers being Dems is an important issue too, but what do you do about that?)

    1. I agree, J. Sobran. There needs to be more of a focus on the Senate. All those individual Senators who voted for Thune to be Majority Leader are to blame. Trump should have gotten behind his opponent– Rick Scott from Florida– who would have been very good.

    1. Unfortunately, Fred, the socialists are ruthless with the use of the blue slip, while the Republicans are not. That means the blue slip process disadvantages more conservative nominees and advantages socialist nominees.
