Good News: Natural Gas Pipeline Extension Approved

We learn from the John Locke Foundation that an extension of the Mountain Valley Pipeline into North Carolina has been approved by the state. There had been political obstacles for years placed by Governor Roy Cooper and his administration.

This is a pipeline that runs from West Virginia and Virginia. The extension will be into the area around Eden, NC where it will presumably connect with other infrastructure.

It is hoped that increasing the supply of natural gas to our state might increase reliability of our energy supplies– for both natural gas and electricity– and also keep the cost down.

  1. Drill, baby drill. Great news. We were potentially energy independent but Obama and Biden obstructed oil and gas exploration until DJT 2.0 took the reins.
