His analysis is exactly right about Obamacare being designed to make people cry out for total govt control. Much as the banking regulatory scheme set up during Lincoln’s War (National Banking Act) perversely promoted boom/bust so as to make people cry out for what became the Fed.
Republicans, in sticking to their guns on the expiration of the Covid-justified extra subsidy, should be EMPHASIZING how crappy Obamacare is in making everyone’s healthcare more expensive and worse.
I agree, J. Sobran, but that would require that they communicate clearly and forcefully and consistently. They tend not to do that.
