Hate Speech laws have been used in various places– including Canada and the UK– to go after Christians who speak biblical truth:

In the UK it has gotten so that if you tweet using ” offensive language” , you may be arrested.
Police over there spend all their time on Twitter threatening people with jail time for frivolous things.
A new report in the Times has revealed that police in the UK are arresting more than 12,000 people each year for words that cause offense. That’s over 30 arrests per day for speech crime.
Let’s not forget in Minnesota they ( the DFL ) passed a hotline bill urging citizens to snitch on their neighbors and businesses for violating the stay at home rule.
Here, also, in the US we find out the FBI was attempting to infiltrate Catholic churches.
You could be next.
The left would love to be able to prosecute “hate speech” here, Fred. I don’t know why we are in the NATO alliance with the UK at this point.
More insanity from the Yoo-Kay.

The British people need to take care of this situation, Fred. I understand Nigel Farage’s Reform Party is rising…
Outstanding video essay. Incitement to violence is the only speech that should be illegal. (“Fire” in a crowded theater is fraudulent as well as an inducement to violence of a sort.)
Restrictions on speech are restrictions on thought. Hate speech is a manipulative ploy.
I agree, J. Sobran. The modern left has been flirting with speech restrictions for decades with its institution of political correctness. What has been happening in Europe is devastating.
