I was away on vacation last week. The one story I found striking was the 9/11 widow, Terry Strada, calling out the political class and especially former presidents for intentionally overlooking the Saudis’ role in 9/11. This occurred at the 25th anniversary memorial service in New York with former presidents in attendance.
Why did they cover up for the Saudi’s? Oil and the Petrodollar. And perhaps the fact that Saudi Arabia is more tolerant of Israel than the other countries in the region:
They didn’t cover it up for 25 years because of altruistic feelings towards Saudi Arabia. It is a thread that will lead back to the US govt. &/or Israel. A great deal of what we have been told about 9/11 is untrue.
Anybody ever seen any evidence presented that Osama Bin Laden had anything to do with it?
Why does it take 25 years to convict those putative planners (who have been long and badly tortured) down in Guantanamo Bay prison? Could it be they don’t have any real evidence? 25 years…got a better explanation?
Of course, J. Sobran, that opens another line of inquiry entirely. I know there have been alternative explanations offered that compete with the official explanation. But it’s pretty clear that, in spite of all the bombs dropped and folks imprisoned, we still haven’t obtained justice– regardless of which explanation is true.
The failure of our approach is evidenced by the fact that we now have many more Muslims in the country, and they are exerting increased influence in various ways.
I Really don’t know what these dear 9/11 widows expect. Using Saudi Arabia as a whipping boy is pointless , IMO.
It’s hard to know what they expect, Fred. But perhaps it is acting in accordance with the truth… assuming it is true that the Saudi’s were instigating these types of activities.
