Below is a great discussion of a new book, “Loser Theology”, written by Michael Clary– a Southern Baptist pastor. Clary describes the tendency throughout much of evangelicalism to adopt a passive, defeatist stance regarding the major cultural and political battles and issues of our day. He asserts that biblical instruction argues we should do otherwise. Other prominent thinkers including Eric Metaxas and Stephen Wolfe– and the host, William Wolfe– have advocated in the same direction during recent years, but Clary takes a different approach:

It was for sure an excellent discussion. The Losers’ message is that conservatives should be silent on the wickedness of the world. Thus their views would bring more of this evil in. Pastors should stand up and encourage their flock to do likewise. AMEN…
