MRNA “Vaccines” For Cancer?

They are talking about using an mRNA “gene therapy” product to treat certain cancers like melanoma.

Just as in the case of the recently introduced products for Covid and flu, using the term “vaccine” is not accurate. Their mechanism of action is very different than products historically used as vaccines in the past. Indeed, the absurdity of using the term “vaccine” is illustrated when we discuss using the product for cancers.

The risk is that these mRNA products are going to be introduced for a wide variety of conditions; and that doctors and patients will be encouraged to use them. As we saw with the Covid vaccines, the representations regarding adverse effects cannot be trusted. It is theoretically possible they might afford a favorable risk/ benefit profile for certain conditions, but we cannot know this if accurate information is not shared with doctors and patients.

  1. I would not trust anything coming from Moderna, who sold us the toxic jab (for billions of $s).

This discussion of melanoma is a little weird. They aren’t saying metastatic melanoma. Where it hasn’t metastasized, it is fully removed by MOHS surgery. Those patients are monitored for melanoma every 6 months thereafter, in which case suspicious moles are removed aggressively. Why is more needed than that? Am I missing something?

Triad, I appreciate your point ‘the absurdity of using the term “vaccine”.’ You can’t think straight using squirrely words.

    1. Yes, J. Sobran, these products are treatments, sometimes used preventively. They are not vaccines in the classical sense. They are not inoculating all or part of an organism in order to build a defense against it.

If there were metastatic melanoma with a poor or guarded prognosis, it is theoretically possible one of these products might have a positive risk/ benefit profile. But there would be definite risks and potentially severe adverse effects– as there is with many types of chemotherapy. I just don’t know because we can’t trust them to produce honest data.

      1. Not just Moderna should have no trust. Merck foisted Gardasil on our children.

They don’t have to produce honest data, because the US has a fascistic medical system where CDC, FDA, et al are “captured”. Don’t think those who people CDC don’t benefit from being vaccine boosters at every turn. An excellent example of the putrid fruit of the marriage of corporate and govt interests. They also own the media AND THE SEARCH ALGORITHMS!
