Where Are Our US District Court Judges’ Nominations?

The Daily Haymaker makes a great point. We have two vacancies for US District Court judges in the state of North Carolina. President Trump will be nominating to fill these vacancies.

Given the likelihood that Roy Cooper the socialist will likely be filling a Senate seat in January, it becomes much more imperative those judicial seats get nominated and filled before then. Why? Cooper would have a veto over who is nominated if he ascends to the Senate.

That is why the Haymaker says it is imperative for Budd, Tillis and Trump to work to get these judges nominated and confirmed quickly. As long as the people of North Carolina keep electing socialists to important statewide offices, it is important we have conservative judges to protect our rights against them.

Of course, the Senate is on recess for about four more weeks; and the GOP Senate leadership has stalled many nominations to this point.

  1. I HAVE BEEN SATIFIED IN GENERAL WITH TRUMP’S JUDICIAL NOMINATIONS WITH A COUPLE OF EXCEPTIONS.

I HAD FORGOTTEN ABOUT THAT HOME STATE BLOCKING PROVISION.

HURRY AND GET THEM TO THE JUDICARY COMMITTEE.

    1. Oh, J. Sobran, I have no expectation whatsoever this will be done by January. Ironically, very few of us have the luxury of postponing our work responsibilities for many months at a time. That is a privilege reserved for the political class (and the legal arena).
