    1. Yes, I thought this was outstanding, Fred. And it dovetails with the Scott Atlas speech in the other post you had already seen.

      But the point was made that rules (or rulings) on paper are of no use if they are not followed. That is what has to be resisted.

  2. How pathetic that in “the land of the free and the home of the brave” you’ve got to struggle and expend your fortune in the invariably constipated court system…just to have free speech. No I don’t take for granted that they won. I appreciate the crumbs of encouragement.

    1. It is absolutely crazy, J. Sobran, the lengths to which some have had to go to establish their basic rights under the Constitution. You are absolutely right about that. With regard to the other post I made today and Atlas’ speech, I think he made the point that we will experience the same outrages when another “emergency” arises if the right lessons are not learned and if there is no real accountability and if people don’t “step up”.

      1. The most fundamental failing of the Trump administration is that no one in the Swamp is being held accountable for the thousands of acts of malfeasance and even treason over the past 8 or so years. Not even something so straight-forward as Comey admitting publicly that he leaked classified documents after he was fired.

        Corruption/crime pays in DC.
