But the point was made that rules (or rulings) on paper are of no use if they are not followed. That is what has to be resisted.
How pathetic that in “the land of the free and the home of the brave” you’ve got to struggle and expend your fortune in the invariably constipated court system…just to have free speech. No I don’t take for granted that they won. I appreciate the crumbs of encouragement.
It is absolutely crazy, J. Sobran, the lengths to which some have had to go to establish their basic rights under the Constitution. You are absolutely right about that. With regard to the other post I made today and Atlas’ speech, I think he made the point that we will experience the same outrages when another “emergency” arises if the right lessons are not learned and if there is no real accountability and if people don’t “step up”.
