A couple of articles yesterday provide insight regarding the nature of our local governmental leadership.
The first, published in the Rhino Times, reveals that Guilford County Sheriff Danny Rogers had nearly 200 security calls to his personal home over the last several years. This required county sheriff deputies to visit his home; and is a clear abuse of power for his own benefit. This article claimed some indicated he has paranoid personality traits.
The second article in the News and Record quotes the city attorney stating she had been given “free rein” by the Greensboro City Council to go after certain local activists who had been criticizing the city or its leadership.
All of this happened in the Politically Virtuous City.
This is pretty interesting. Is it possible we might not have the best leaders?
