The Greensboro Thread reports about efforts to pressure the Board of Elections to reinstate voting sites at NC A&T and UNCG. For some reason, GTCC’s multiple campuses, Guilford College, Greensboro College and Bennet College were not included in these demands.
These people have too much time on their hands. They could channel their energy to get their people to the polls. But in reality, most of these people probably ought not even be voting. They have little to no life experience to give them wisdom to vote intelligently.
When these young people vote, they mess up our local elections because many of them are from out of town– or even out of state.
It requires considerable boldness to demand special accommodations that are undeserved.
Just say NO to students voting.
We obviously can’t stop them from voting, Fred, but we would be foolish to take extra measures to ease and facilitate their voting.
