Good Bills On Homeless, Farmland Pass General Assembly

The General Assembly passed a bill that would stipulate the homeless cannot sleep in certain public spaces; and that would allow cities to require they instead sleep in certain designated spaces.

Another bill required that foreign adversaries cannot buy farm land or property near military bases.

WRAL has the details.

I would prefer to bar any foreign individual or entity from buying farmland or land near military bases.

But otherwise these are good bills. They fix problems that have been festering with the homeless degrading public spaces in our cities, and China buying up our farmland.

Now, Governor Stein has to make a decision on these bills. He would veto if he were to follow his leftist inclinations, but that would cost him politically.
