Sounds good to me, Fred. I have a feeling Trump is going to start throwing his weight around with the GOP Senate. In fact, it is already happening.
Uniparty motivations are rather a mystery to me. My best guess is that they are superficial individuals seeking their little bit of power (which money accompanies) & feelings of importance within the cancerous organism that rules us.
Nobody is going to turn out to vote for Nikki Haley or Chris Christie…or Michael Whatley. Republicans are headed to being an even more pathetic “controlled opposition” than they already are. (The Federal budget is even larger than under Dems, and I suspect 90-95% of the spending is the same directionally as the last Dem budget. If the Republicans are in charge, it’s barely detectable at the margins.)
J. Sobran, I am afraid virtually all of what you are saying is absolutely true. It’s pretty pathetic at this point to see the performance of the congressional Republicans.
