For a 5 minute summation, pretty good. I would recommend “The Road to Guilford Courthouse” as one of the best non-fiction books I’ve ever read. It is such an interesting story with so many engaging details. Spoiler alert: the good guys, miraculously, win.

That is a story I have heard many times…. from grammar school through college. As an undergraduate I had the opportunity to take a course in North Carolina history. The instructor was Hugh Leffler who had authored the book:
North Carolina: The History of a Southern State.
I wonder what is being taught in today’s public schools.

But this is a great story with a great outcome.
