One again, the PCA is supposed to be a conservative denomination.
It turns out that many of those who signed the letter of complaint against him were from the late Tim Keller’s Redeemer Presbyterian in New York. That is a large multi-site church that has “gone woke”. Megan Basham reported in her book, “Shepherds For Sale“, that a large percentage of that church’s pastors had donated to Democratic political candidates.
In any case, Jon Harris gives a great summary of the manner in which Garris has been targeted by some within that denomination who tilt leftward:
