Yet if the states–not intended ever to be provinces, but States– retained the autonomy with which the original 13 States joined the Union, the US would be a much freer, more prosperous country than it is. Especially less war-like.
I agree, J. Sobran. Some critical errors have been made; and the lust for power overtook many of the “public servants” at the national level– executive, legislative, judicial, administrative– almost since the beginning.
This is happening. I know it must be a difficult choice. Uprooting from your home
is hard decision yet many are pulling the trigger. Good luck and good fortune to those brave enough to take the chance.
