RESISTANCE: Senator Thom Tillis is now blocking any nominee for Attorney General that doesn't agree with his hyperbolic views on the January 6th riot opposing Trump's pardons and the settlement with the Babbitt family. Tillis is deranged… a sick puppy. He doesn’t represent North Carolina views. I wish the GOP had chosen a more formidable opponent to challenge Cooper.
Unfortunately, Fred, we can blame this in part on Trump that Whatley was anointed. And yes, Tillis is compounding his awfulness as he walks toward the exit.
You might have seen that Trump endorsed Andy Barr– a McConnell guy– in Kentucky, and offered Nate Morris a job to get him out of the primary race. Inexplicable.
Tillis is disgusting. J6 was a masterfully orchestrated false flag. Why is he so invested in the lie of it? It was as if he and McConnell and a few other Republicans were in on it.
And Trump has gone over to the dark Neocon side that he told us in the campaign he was against.
“Why is he so invested in the lie of it?”
That is a great question, J. Sobran. While I can’t prove it, I believe there was a conspiracy to orchestrate this false flag; and some key members of Congress were part of it. Tillis also has a deep-seated antipathy for Trump and his supporters.
With regard to Trump, he has obviously been at odds with the GOP establishment Senate for a long time. There are, no doubt, some circumstances that have driven the periodic lapses we have seen; and I don’t claim to know with certainty what those circumstances might be precisely. Some have offered theories. However, some of his lapses have made little sense whatsoever.
