Karen Bass is the incumbent in the LA mayors race. She is running for reelection.
Karen Bass is still a communist today in 2026. When asked by reporters about her past trips to Cuba in the 1970s and firearms training in the jungle there, Ms. Bass has attempted to brush it off as adventure travel. Her first husband was a Cuban communist.
Polls show her leading all other candidates. Go figure ????
Yes, Fred, this is definitely a source of puzzlement. Undoubtedly there is some element of machine politics. I am not sure how honest the elections have been in California.
