It seems that, every ten years or so, there are revelations of corrupt financial practices at NC A&T University in Greensboro. There was a new report yesterday.
It appears the state needs to place a permanent external officer in control of the school’s finances. Enough is enough.
Martin’s explanation smells. Will the State try to claw back the $$$$$$$$ awarded ( illegally ) to lucky individuals ?
I don’t know, Fred. But it should…
The state replaces the supervisors. It occurs again. The problem is that it is institutional. New people are corrupted over time. Keeping the records public and even online for all to examine is the better solution. It’s not just A&T, other schools are guilty as well.
Hi, Don. Great to hear from you– it’s been a long time.
You make some good points. I can’t help but feel that I have heard more about corruption at A&T over the years compared with other schools. It would be good to see objective data.
