What a story. Now Brockman’s defense will be that the minor seduced him by pretending to be of consensual age. Don’t think a jury will buy that convenient lie or maybe it will. That is why we have trials.
Good point, Fred, that it is difficult to know whether he will be convicted. You and I both know that it’s overwhelmingly likely he is guilty.
But Fred, it was perfectly acceptable– to local and state Democrats and to the regional mainstream media– for us to have an LGBT legislator.
