Breitbart reports that these rapes occurred in Asheville. Unfortunately, Buncombe County is a “sanctuary” jurisdiction.
The article indicates 1400 ICE detainers have not been honored by county sheriffs in North Carolina; but it does not indicate over what time frame. The General Assembly passed a law last year to require county sheriffs to notify ICE prior to releasing these criminals; and of course our cultural Marxist Governor Josh Stein vetoed it. Fortunately, the GOP had enough votes to override.
It is unclear what will happen in this case.
