Dramatic Hearing In Raleigh Discusses Charlotte Crime

The Republicans’ oversight committee in Raleigh grilled Charlotte officials about the egregious crime that has been occurring in that city. A number of officials were questioned including but not limited to the notorious county sheriff Garry McFadden.

WRAL’s article relates that McFadden was defiant. As a general rule, the socialists tend to rely upon slippery, misleading representations in order to assert their viewpoint and escape accountability.

Legislative hearings often amount to much sound and fury signifying nothing. There is much noise, but it doesn’t necessarily change anything.

North Carolina has too much socialist leadership– in Raleigh, in the courts and at the local level. Many people are stuck living in these socialist local jurisdictions, and are subject to the negligence of their public officials.

Perhaps there needs to be more legal accountability when local officials in all branches of government act in a negligent fashion and allow crime to spiral.

    1. Yes, JayCee, the hearing got national attention. Unfortunately, we continue to get mediocre public officials because they are nearly guaranteed a win if they run as a Democrat in certain jurisdictions.

Which is why we have a clown of a sheriff in Guilford County, who is no less a buffoon than McFadden.

    1. This is obviously a problem, JayCee. The problem of metropolitan areas and their political leadership really needs much more attention in the General Assembly. Too many people are subject to very bad governance because of the voter registration dynamics in metro areas and voting patterns. People need to be protected from the impacts of this.
