Rod Martin is a prominent Southern Baptist who also happens to be an excellent thinker and communicator. He speaks in this video of the manner in which socialists expropriate certain Christian virtues such as charitableness and concern for the oppressed for nefarious purposes. He also has many other interesting comments including the premise that churches should be teaching and equipping congregants on topics such as this:

Mr. Martin’s remarks were spot on about the forces of evil trying the bait and switch by weaponizing our empathy and virtue against ourselves . These coercion tactics used by socialists are successful. Witness the recent election in NYC where the masses embraced a socialist for Mayor. Martin suggests that the way to counter socialist doctrine being taught in schools is a strong Christian education by whatever means. I couldn’t agree more.
Socialists hide behind empty promises and in the end we have shared poverty.
It is a never-ending struggle and I pray that a majority of Americans don’t drink the kool-aid (1619 Project ; CRT etc).
Thanks, Fred, and I agree. The churches and Christian schools need to teach these matters– to disciple and to act as stewards and to make people aware of the manipulations taking place.
