Last week, the American Academy of Pediatrics recommended that requests for religious exemptions to vaccines no longer be honored. Pediatricians gain financially from the administration of vaccines– sometimes handsomely.
David Bell, Brownstone Institute:
The AAP will almost certainly continue its path of child polypharmacy, blind adherence to protocols based on the products of their sponsors, and denigration and exclusion of the opinions of parents who recognize the stark reality of deteriorating health in North American children. Parents reading the AAP’s list of priorities would be foolhardy to then entrust their children to such care…
Fundamental rights of each human to make their own way in life, and protect and oversee their children, underpin any decent societal model. In fascist societies, such decisions are removed and taken into the hands of experts and authoritarian institutions. The people must simply comply as slaves. Medical professions and their academies have a long history of supporting such approaches, and the AAP seems increasingly determined to replicate that path. It should receive all the respect that such an indecent approach deserves.
Is the ACP recommending that if a parent asks that their child not be given certain vaccines then the Doctor refuse further treatment ??
Does non compliance with this recommendation have any sanctions ?
I am not aware they are recommending the doctor refuse to take care of the patient. There are entities that make decisions about exemptions from required vaccines, for instance, for school attendance. The pediatricians’ organization is recommending that these entities refrain from doing exemptions.
I am not aware of any sanctions because the pediatricians’ organization has no legal authority.
Fascism is the word for our medical system. The power structure (not found in a free society) created by the marriage of the medical hierarchy and government is destructive; each gives the other power via that marriage they shouldn’t have in a free society. The 2-3% of physicians not already controlled by the corporate or govt paycheck are ever at risk of losing their license (govt-vouchsafed privilege) for any independent thought or action.
Ye of tender ears might call it corporatism, but that doesn’t properly connote how evil it is and the harm it does.
Interestingly, J. Sobran, the public health authorities that establish these vaccine mandates for schools are not directly connected to the pediatricians in clinical practice. However, the latter benefits when the insurer lathers on incentives.
We need to look at the public health authorities that establish these mandates. We also need to look at the insurers. Both situations cry out for intervention.
It is also appropriate to take away the power of pediatric practices to turn away patients on the basis of refusing vaccines.
