Lessons From John MacArthur For The Church

The First TV highlights a podcast by Mike Slater on the topic of John MacArthur. It includes a couple of very good interviews; and also several retrospective videos of MacArthur himself.

I found particularly interesting the discussion as to what the church should learn from MacArthur– in particular, the best way to preach, and also how worship services should be conducted:

  1. Thanks for sharing this, TC. We need more men like him in pulpits and fewer of what we’ve got. Less performing and more preaching.

  2. What an inspiring story of how McArthur boldly faced down the County with fearsome courage re the COVID lockdowns . He was a faithful minister of the word of God. If Protestants had ” Sainthood ” he would be one. For sure he was a lion of a preacher…. a true servant of the lord.
