The First TV highlights a podcast by Mike Slater on the topic of John MacArthur. It includes a couple of very good interviews; and also several retrospective videos of MacArthur himself.
I found particularly interesting the discussion as to what the church should learn from MacArthur– in particular, the best way to preach, and also how worship services should be conducted:
Thanks for sharing this, TC. We need more men like him in pulpits and fewer of what we’ve got. Less performing and more preaching.
I agree, Tommy. Thanks…
What an inspiring story of how McArthur boldly faced down the County with fearsome courage re the COVID lockdowns . He was a faithful minister of the word of God. If Protestants had ” Sainthood ” he would be one. For sure he was a lion of a preacher…. a true servant of the lord.
It is definitely a virtue, Fred, to be steadfast when pressures come to bear, and when the world is changing like a blur. That is what we need and MacArthur proved that.
