All of us have gotten our property tax bills recently. There was some sticker shock. The numbers continue to climb quite a bit higher than they had been.
We can expect these property tax bills will continue to rise higher as the socialists on the Board of County Commissioners and the Greensboro City Council continue to tax, spend and waste our money. They use our precious tax dollars to enact their schemes, buy votes and redistribute it to others.
This trend will continue unabated unless citizens decide to put a stop to it.
It is the disenfranchised and disenchanted who pay the most in taxes and receive so little for their sacrifices. When will enough be enough ?
Based on the current trajectory, Fred, I don’t think this political crowd perceives there will ever be an upper limit on what they can charge. You are absolutely right that those who have least are affected the worst with these increases. Some people will be driven from their homes. Yost’s article provides a way for seniors and veterans and the disabled to get some relief.
