How Will NC Respond To Abortion Pill Ruling?

The lefty 4th Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond has ruled that the states are allowed to regulate the abortion pill and even make it illegal. This is more than likely based on the Supreme Court precedent that overturned Roe v. Wade.

That raises questions as to what the Republicans who control the NC General Assembly will do in response. The abortion pill is a major problem, and is likely much more unsafe than surgical abortion. In addition, its availability via mail order likely increases the number of abortions dramatically.

These same Republicans had already made the decision that abortion should be legal in the state of North Carolina through the first three months of pregnancy. But there is an even greater imperative to outlaw the abortion pill or strictly regulate it.

Let’s see what they do.
