His response suggests we need to adopt a discerning attitude toward some organizations and institutions that have arisen during recent years, or that have taken a wrong turn. I would beware any minister who cites the Gospel Coalition or speaks of it in a positive fashion:

John Mc Arthur was a wonderful minster of the gospel, who we miss. He was so right with his warnings about these leftist associations.
It is interesting, Fred, that some high-profile individuals within the larger conservative denominations and the evangelical orbit have associated with entities like the Gospel Coalition and Christianity Today magazine. These reputation of these organizations has become sullied, and we need to be very careful about those who continue to choose to associate or affiliate themselves…
