  1. One thing is unmistakable . Trump wants Tillis primaried and for good reason.

    Let’s hope some credible Republican will step up and challenge Tillis.

    1. I agree, Fred. And I hope it is only one. That seems unlikely because the establishment GOP has used multiple primary candidates intentionally to protect their incumbents.

      Potential candidates? Dan Bishop, Pat Harrigan, Brad Knott, Lara Trump? I think Bishop would be great but Lara Trump has some obvious advantages.

      Years ago, Mark Meadows would have been an option, but I think his relationship with Trump soured with all that happened in the last days of the first term…
