UNC’s Role In The Covid Pandemic Finally Being Explored

It has been discussed for years that UNC-Chapel Hill had a prominent role in the Covid pandemic. Yet, this had remained an undiscussed topic in North Carolina state government and the regional mainstream media. Nobody wanted to touch it.

Carolina Journal placed a significant article on its website with a disclaimer this week. The article discusses the fact that there is absolutely no oversight of the virology lab run by Dr. Ralph Baric at UNC and UNC’s School of Public Health.

The article states:

The evidence suggests that UNC midwifed a virus that killed 20 million people.

An organization called U.S. Right To Know has been fighting in court to get records from UNC regarding Baric’s research.

Yesterday, the NC House Speaker– Destin Hall– officially requested records from UNC regarding this research. This is the first time– in my recollection– that anyone in North Carolina state government or the regional legacy media has expressed interest in pursuing this matter. It is almost as if there was a code of silence.

Yes, there are potential legal risks. But there is also a risk if these types of research activities are permitted to continue.

  1. What Dr. Ebright said is very enlightening.

    I have a question.

Are the documents being requested by Speaker Hall classified ?

    Fauci and Baric are criminals.

Former CDC director Robert Redfield comes out of this mess unscathed.

Dr. Redfield, former director of the CDC said that many officials who tried to warn the public about potential problems with COVID-19 vaccines were pressured into silence and that it’s high time to admit that there were “significant” side effects that made people sick.

Dr. Redfield made the remarks in an interview with Chris Cuomo on NewsNation, during which he lamented the loss of public confidence in public health agencies because of a lack of transparency around the vaccines, which he said “saved a lot of lives” but also made some people “quite ill.”

“Those of us that tried to suggest there may be significant side effects from vaccines … we kind of got canceled because no one wanted to talk about the potential that there was a problem from the vaccines, because they were afraid that that would cause people not to want to get vaccinated,” Dr. Redfield said.

    1. I don’t know whether those documents are classified, Fred. We have learned this was a military program, so it seems likely there might be some kinds of restrictions on releasing the documents. But the state legislature should have supremacy over what happens at state universities in North Carolina.
