Israel/ Iran

Iran is an unusual case. Despite many decades of supporting international terrorism, it was somehow able to avoid attacks on its homeland until last night. It was actively waging war against us in Iraq, but we refrained from attacking Iran.

Israel’s move arouses concern because it risks a much wider war. But Israel got the dirty work done that was probably needed. Although the threat of a nuclear Iran has been an item for at least a couple of decades, the risk of the Islamic suicide nuclear bomb is always an issue. Would they detonate for the benefit of dozens of virgins in the afterlife?

Pakistan is a nuclear power and has not yet degenerated to that point. Perhaps Iran would not, either.

It is clear that Israel bears the greatest risks resulting from their strikes. We would be wise to keep out of this conflict.

  1. Gad to see Israel show some guts. Keep up the bombing until the Ayatollahs say uncle.

  2. “We would be wise to keep out of this conflict.” The US taxpayer undoubtedly pays for it. Israel’s taxation and indebtedness are less than that of the US, remarkable for a country surrounded by neighbors who hate them and have since 1948. Since we are Israel’s bitch, a lot of that hate transfers to us; I don’t say that lightly as Netanyahu controls way more congressmen than Trump, and indeed has a dedicated handler (uniquely exempt from foreign agent registration) for every member of Congress.
