    1. Just like what happened to Lawndale, I don’t think any amount of exposure to the metastasized cancer being fed by the Baptist overlords in this country will do anything to crush their plans to Calvinize the whole denomination. Too much influence, money and power lies in their war chest. Yeah, maybe a battle will be won here and there but they have a well developed plan that is steeped in deception and lies while their faithful followers clap like seals and continue to generously fund their endeavors while believing they are doing it all for the advancement of the gospel.

      1. I think the story of the Knightdale church, Jan, involves an independent Baptist church that was being taken over by J.D. Greear’s Summit. I look forward to the full documentary when it is released to learn more details.

There is a great deal wrong within the Southern Baptist Convention today. I think the annual meeting is within the next week or two. Thus far, attempts to fix things have yielded mixed results.

One tragedy is that many faithful, long-time Southern Baptists are getting hurt in various ways.

  1. Passed by College Park Baptist Church at Walker Ave. and Aycock St across from UNC-G today.
They have a banner out front: “Christians Against Christian Nationalism”
How Godly of them to invite folks in to hear their message of hate against those whom they will not tolerate because they disagree with their beliefs.

    1. That’s a major league lefty church, Jaycee, and has been for a long time. The intolerance of the political left is an ongoing theme, and that church is apparently part of that.

JD Greear and Summit Church in Durham create a certain appearance that would suggest otherwise, but the record demonstrates he has been a part of the liberal shift in the SBC. And of course, he has been a very prominent figure.
