It was interesting that Marjorie Taylor Green this week refused to run for Senate in Georgia. The explanation she gave was that the Senate would not change, and she would not be able to have an impact there. I hope she is not right about those things, although that is certainly the recent history that corrupt uniparty leadership– and progressives within the GOP caucus– have made it impossible for the Republicans there to achieve anything of worth.
