Griffin/ Riggs Contest Nearly Settled

Unfortunately, a Republican-nominated US District Court judge has ruled in favor of socialist Supreme Court Justice Allison Riggs. That means Jefferson Griffin’s pathway to victory has become much more narrow.

Why? It is unthinkable that the socialist-dominated 4th US Circuit Court of Appeals will reverse the district court judge’s opinion. That means, for it to be overturned, the US Supreme Court would have to take the case and rule in Griffin’s favor.

It is pretty clear to me that this case does not belong in the federal courts. This is a state election; and there is no legitimate federal question to be resolved. But unfortunately, the pattern is for the federal government to grab sovereignty over nearly everything.

It is possible that the state of North Carolina– its Supreme Court, its state Board of Elections, etc.– will try to take back that sovereignty. (Indeed, Republicans just regained control of the state Board of Elections within the last week).

But I suspect the power-grabbing federal judiciary will prevail.
