A beautiful story adapted from a Grimm Brothers fairy tale. I vaguely recall my mom taking me to see it when it was re-released in 1944.
I saw it, Fred, during the early-to-mid 1960’s– somewhere in that time frame. But you saw it very close to the original release! I agree– great story, great message.
