  1. The proper response and one that seems to be percolating up at the present time is that Hunter’s pardon opens the door to his being summoned to testify about all the unanswered questions arising from his days as Burisma VP to the present (December 1, 2024, date of presidential pardon). As I’ve said before, the pardon immunizes him and deprives of the protection of the Fifth Amendment that, under normal circumstances, would protect him from being required to incriminate himself but does not permit him to shield others. Before the pardon, he was able to shield others by asserting that anything he might say would not just incriminate them but himself, too. That level of protection is gone.

The Trump people are playing this perfectly by saying very little other than denouncing the pardon, which is pro forma. Don’t interrupt your opponent while he’s digging a hole for himself. This could very well get even nastier for the Biden Crime Family (BCF) if and when Joe pardon his brother who already has been referred to DOJ for a perjury prosecution from his past testimony on the Hill.

When all is said and done and the door closes on Joe, our new AG, Pam Bondi can appoint a special counsel with subpoena power to go over every inch of the trail left by the Bidens during the period covered before and by the pardon: January 1, 2014 through December 1, 2024. Should Hunter fail to testify before a grand jury convened by Bondi’s special counsel, he can be charged with contempt of court, fined and imprisoned and Poppa Joe can do nothing about that. Likewise, for James, if and when he is pardoned and anyone else connected to the BCF, known and unknown.

    Biden’s troubles are just beginning.
