1. It isn’t that benign. They don’t at all prevent war–they fomented Ukraine–or have any allegiance to free markets (what country isn’t Obiden sanctioning?). He has some insight, but his interpretation is way too generous, assuming good intentions that don’t exist. The ruling class is corruptly interested in their own wealth and power.

   The main thing he is right about is that they will probably not allow Trump to take office.

   1. I agree, Healey. In fact, if Trump were to win the debate tomorrow night, expect things to get really strange. We will be liable for all kinds of “events” that disrupt things somehow.

2. Indeed. As shameless as the Dems are, one couldn’t rule out their going back to the bench again for a Kamala replacement. Well, yes, I’m tongue-in-cheek on that sentence. All they really need to do is manipulate the pols so that it is within the margin of cheat.

   Weinstein is so cavalier about the situation, and okay with screwing with the word “democracy” to encompass our corrupt oligarchy. You can’t think straight without clearly defined words.

   1. I was not familiar with Weinstein until recently, but I would bet he would have been in the tank for the socialists until the last several years. I suspect he has come a long way, although I understand your objections.
