As with the JFK assassination, which was provably a CIA-military brass operation, following the multiple incompetencies, everything is secretive and opaque in the aftermath from the Secret Service and FBI.
It was so obvious, Healey, that this was a failure that even the socialists were criticizing the Secret Service director yesterday and calling for her ouster. Of course, this was likely self-interest on their part, but the Secret Service’s performance was impossible to defend. The dark possibility of malicious intent and conspiracy remain on the table; I hope we can sort all of this out.
