It would have been inconceivable years ago. But now there is a small number of Americans who have decided to relocate to Russia.
One person said it was like their vision of 1950’s America. Some of those who made this decision celebrate the fact none of the deviant cultural changes taking place in the USA are thriving there. We also have seen a sharp uptick in totalitarian approaches and a desire to smother the country’s founding culture.
These have been crazy times, but nobody can deny that the United States is not what it used to be.
Whatever the USA is today it is a helluva site better than living in Russia. At least we can change things ( I hope ) with fair and square elections.
Fred, I think in many ways, the USA is still better than Russia. But in some very important ways, we are worse.
