Just for starters, Facebook took steps to suppress true information or mere opinions about vaccines to avoid a “vaccine negative environment,” according to internal company occupations. They said they were combating misinformation, but also working to contain information they admitted was “not false.”
The Biden administration mocked middle America’s ability to determine what is true and what isn’t.
Then there are the Twitter files by Matt Taibbi. Part 19 which is a lengthy look into Twitter’s communications with a Stanford-based coalition of researchers and analysts called the Virality Project who advocated for the censorship of so-called COVID misinformation.
Taibbi called the thread, “The Great Covid-19 Lie Machine, Stanford, the Virality Project, and the Censorship of ‘True Stories.’”
