Dr. Pinsky is qualified to speak on this issue, although it appears that leaders and voters are not listening. Creeping legalization seems to be gaining the upper hand.
I wish I could come up with a strategy to reverse this trend.
Marijuana is still Federally illegal but the will to enforce the law is lacking.
I agree, Fred. It is a terrible mistake to create conditions that increase folks’ use of this drug, but that is precisely what has happened.
The fact that it is illegal at the federal level– while legal in certain states– is causing a mess in various ways.
