Very good, TC. Yes corporate medicine is harmful to the doctor patient relationship. I don’t trust the powers that be to allow a return to what things were like 20 or 30 years ago.
It depends on the doc’s and whether there will be a major move back toward small, private practices. This is already happening to some extent although not nearly enough thus far. The problem is that new graduates are afflicted with so much debt when they reach the job market, and working for a salary seems to be the only option in the eyes of many of them.
