I wonder why this approach seems so alien to our own experience as Christian Americans. We have taken for granted for many years our religious liberty; and now we face forces that are determined to take it away. Sometimes, I wonder whether we have been too passive and meek:

Inspiring/ motivating men to fight for what is right, using somewhat different approaches…
We’ve not been too weak. We’ve been too quiet.
Jesus asked, “will he find faith on the earth” (Lk. 18:8)? How does faith come? By the hearing of the word (Rom. 10:17). But we shrink before the condemnation of those that don’t love God, especially from those that name the name of Jesus. We have to speak up more, and more courageously, because, “how shall they hear without a preacher”? If we place Jesus before the world, Jesus promises that he will “send…a sword” (Matt. 10:34). The fight is His and we are his servants, sent to speak.
Andrew, thanks for the good words. I agree. Most of the time circumstances will justify speech. Occasionally, circumstances might justify more than just speech.
