Securing the integrity of elections is vitally important. Yet since the inception of the COVID-19 pandemic many leading Democrats have scoffed at the reality of voter fraud.
Voter fraud is as old as the Republic. The Kennedy-Nixon election was almost surely decided by fraud in Texas and Chicago. Then there was Tammany Hall and Boss Tweed.
Without rigid safeguards to prevent fraud, misuse, and voter intimidation, absentee ballot fraud, elections will continue to be stolen. The $64 question how do you secure these protections.
I think those who have studied and advocated for this issue have very defined ideas about how to secure these protections. But there has to be a political will to do it, particularly in places like Arizona and Georgia where Republicans control both the executive and the legislative branches.
