I mourn somewhat the news of this buyout. These three pharmacies, under the same ownership, provided excellent customer service for many years.
I fear this is not good news for the people of eastern Rockingham County who will have less real choices and competition. It corporatizes nearly the entire pharmacy market. There is only one independent pharmacy that would remain in Reidsville.
And meanwhile, the menace of the corrupt hospital systems gobbling up huge chunks of the medical industry continues apace.
